Working with Morden
Morden's day-to-day economy is small-scale and local. The Morden Hall Park Garden Centre at 21 Morden Hall Road pulls steady weekend trade from the car park, with a National Trust café alongside it serving the walking crowd. Wimbledon Guild Morden runs a wellbeing drop-in every Monday from 3-4 Crown Parade, SM4 5DA, and is one of the more visible community services on the parade. The wider Morden economy leans heavily on tradesmen, independent salons, takeaways and small retailers along London Road and the High Street. Merton Council's Remaking Morden plan is explicit about wanting a mix of independents and nationals in the town centre, with a café culture by day and later-opening venues in the evening.
Every Morden site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.
