Working with Cardiff
Cardiff's small-business scene clusters tightly around the arcades and the market. Cardiff Market, the indoor one off St Mary Street, still runs stalls selling fresh fish, books and vinyl, while Corp Market on Corporation Road hosts a rotating bench of indie makers, label launches and Sunday brunch. Spillers Records has traded on the High Street since 1894, FOR Cardiff delivers the BID-funded street cleansing and events, and the Albany Road / Wellfield Road strip in Roath does the bulk of the daily café and grocery trade. The Principality Stadium and Cardiff Bay pull event footfall into the centre on match days, but the day-to-day economy is the indie one.
Every Cardiff site is hand-coded, mobile-first, and shipped on its own domain. There's nothing for you to maintain — hosting, SSL, backups, updates and small content edits are all in the £25/month plan. You'll deal directly with me from brief to launch, by email or WhatsApp, in plain English.
